Our story
Solada Care Group Limited was founded in June 2025 with a clear ambition: to create children's homes we would be proud to place a child in ourselves.
We are developing small, high-quality residential homes where children receive consistent care, strong relationships and the support they need to build confidence and a positive future. We combine hands-on leadership and strong operational standards with experienced children's care professionals, growing carefully so that quality always comes before scale.
So far we have assembled our professional team and progressed our first two proposed children's homes through development and planning, preparing them for the Ofsted registration process.
Why Solada was created
Solada grew from recognising the shortage of suitable, well-run residential homes for children who need stable placements. Our founders saw a clear need for high-quality children's residential placements, and an opportunity to bring strong business, property and operational standards into the care sector while keeping each child's wellbeing at the centre of every decision.
The goal is to give children stability, opportunity, positive relationships and a home they can feel proud of.
The name. Solada is intended to represent warmth, care, stability and a fresh start. It was chosen to feel distinctive and positive rather than clinical or institutional.

Leadership
The leadership team combines commercial, property and operational experience with specialist children's residential care expertise. As the homes progress toward registration, regulated care responsibilities will be led by appropriately qualified and experienced professionals in line with Ofsted requirements.
Business strategy & growth
Jack leads Solada's overall business strategy, investment, growth and commercial direction. He brings extensive experience in building and managing businesses, property investment, development and commercial operations.
Operations & homes
Lauren is closely involved in the operational and property side of the group, supporting the operational development of the homes and day-to-day group requirements. She brings a hands-on, people-focused approach.
Care leadership & safeguarding
Experienced children's residential care professionals, Registered Managers and specialist advisers will lead care delivery, safeguarding, staff supervision and regulatory compliance as each home progresses through registration and becomes operational.

Our approach combines the standards and discipline of a professionally run organisation with the warmth and personal feel of a small home.
